While many MMA fans were ecstatic to find out that sixteen fighters and various modes were available in the UFC 2010 preview event only a few days ago, we’ve just received word from the official community blog that we won’t see such luxury in the public demo.

The long-awaited UFC 2010 demo will feature only four fighters, but will include an offline tournament mode for friendly combat. While this is a bit of a letdown to fans that expected a more robust demo, keep in mind that the 2010 demo will feature twice as many fighters and gameplay modes as its highly-successful 2009 counterpart.

Further details about the release of the demo were also revealed in the blog post, with the statement that they would like to push it out at least one month before release, meaning we should be able to get our hands on the game no later than April 25th.
