EA MMA Introduces Live Broadcast with New Trailer

It was only yesterday that Electronic Arts announced that their new MMA fighter, EA MMA, will be introducing a revolutionary new feature into the fighting game arena. Today, we’re buying into the hype as the first trailer for EA’s Live Broadcast is unveiled.

EA MMA Introduces Live Broadcast with New Trailer

Live Broadcast is EA MMA’s way of bringing the fight out of the living room, and in front of the couches of thousands of gamers and fight fans around the world. With real matches selected, broadcasted and commentated on by real broadcasters live for everyone to see, the new trailer provides insight into what is expected to be a core advantage for EA over its UFC 2010 competitor.

As the video reveals, EA Sports MMA players will be able to create fighters, give them their own faces, then go online and fight other fans doing the same thing. Players will even be able to talk smack to each other and hype up fights before they happen, just like real MMA fighters often do. Once the stage is set, the big fights will be broadcasted live for all to spectate, and early word is that the winners could receive actual prizes. Be prepared for Live Broadcast as EA MMA debuts October 19th.
